VersaGrade, Inc. was contracted to perform the sitework for Phases 1 and 2 of this project. Ph. 1 consisted of 150,000 sf of clearing followed by 27,500 cy of mass grading (cuts to fills) to construct a 72,500 sf super pad. Ph. 2 required construction of a 32,000 sf structural foundation pad and associated sitework including SWPPP, underground utilities, extensive exterior flatwork and paving. Underground Utilities included: 8 & 10” water main, 2 & 3” domestic water services, 900 lf of 8” fire service including a DCDA in a below grade precast vault, hydrants, post indicator valve and fire department connection, as well as irrigation water service.
The sanitary sewer system included a grease interceptor with 4 & 6” sewer services. The storm drain system included several hundred feet of 6, 8, 12 & 18” storm drain piping with manholes and catch basins. The balance of underground utilities included electric, communications and gas services. The project required over 2,000 lf of curbs and gutters, 14,650 sf of exterior flatwork and over 42,000 sf of asphalt paving. A unique requirement of this project included construction of an under-slab Radon Mitigation System.
